Sumi Jo : Operatic Soprano who has voice from heaven!
Sumi Jo has proven herself to be one of today's most talented sopranos. She was born in Seoul, Korea in 1962. She graduated from Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome. Then she soon came to the attention of Herbert von Karajan, for whom she sang the role of Oscar in Un Ballo in Maschera, as a result of an audition in 1988. Since then, she has performed all the great coloratura roles such as Queen of the Night, Lucia, Zerbinetta, Fiorilla, Amina, etc. at the world's major opera houses, under the world famous conductors. She is praised for the remarkable agility, precision, and warmth of her coloratura voice and for her outstanding musicianship. In addition, she has been consistently greeted with exceptional accolades, by the public and press alike, for her performances in the most important opera houses throughout the world.
Rain : Rain is the face-and well-muscled torso-of pop globalism!
Rain (Real name: Jung Ji-Hoon, born on 25 June 1982 in Seoul) is a male Korean R&B and pop singer. He has become well-known throughout East and Southeast Asia-including Japan, Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan, Mainland China, Vietnam and Thailand.. He sold out two shows at Madison Square Garden's smaller venue in February, 2006 even in USA. In April 2006, he was mentioned in the Time magazine website article that named the "100 Most Influential People Who Shape Our World." In 2007, Rain topped Time Magazine's online user poll. He also made it into People's 2007 list of the "Most Beautiful People" in the world. Pop culture no longer moves simply in a single direction, from the West to the rest of the world. Instead, it's a global swirl, no more constrained by borders than the weather. Rain, after all, falls on everyone.
